GM Cheverolet 427 Crate Engine

This 427ci V8 was purchased new in December 2008 at Shottenkirk Chevrolet of Fort Madison, Iowa, and has remained unused since then. The engine is based on the late-1960s all-aluminum ZL1 block with which it shares a forged rotating assembly, oval-port aluminum cylinder heads, and a matching oval-port aluminum intake manifold.
